I'm surprised Lombardi isn't on that list for biggest disappointments. Bertuzzi has certainly earned his money more than Lombardi has, which makes his absence curious.
i guess i never considered lombo a disappointment cause i always think he just gets the shaft... but yeah, he probably should have made the short list.
i wouldn't necessarily agree that bertuzzi has "earned his money" more than lombardi, though... i guess it depends on what you're measuring it by. yeah, lombo's played less games (due to injury) and has less points, but his +/- is better and he has probably taken as many strides as #7, who only takes about six per shift....
On Lombo: Dude had the bad flu, then he was hurt for 10 games, so it's hard to be disappointed. I actually thought he was looking good and contributing on the top line before Mikey removed him in favour of Sore Thumb.
Ha! I love the Bertuzzi Shuffle. He takes a couple of quick crossovers which "propel" him through the neutral zone, then he waves his stick half-assedly at the passing puck-carrier. WHAT A PLAYER.
I was torn between Bourque and GlenX, but ultimately took Bourque. He's producing much better than I thought he would, although in fairness, he was probably somewhat hindered on a young Blackhawks squad his first three years, where he wasn't getting a whole lot of attention. Whereas GlenX I had some knowledge on, what with his success against the Flames last year...
I am still of the mindset that GIo never left, so how could he be new for this season... ; D

new favourite was a tough one, was torn between the four (cam, bork, gio, glenx)
biggest disappointment, that was easy!
