fingers crossed...

so, it's obvious that the flames should win the game tonight. HOWEVER, in saying that, i will quickly add that i really don't think it's gonna be as easy as it should be. i would bet good money that we will trail at least once in the game, and i can only hope that the boys can pull it together for the win...

fight hard, boys. please !!!!!!
(somebody spent waaaay too much time cutting and pasting all our boys' faces onto the 300 poster)...

Um, you know the Spartans die at the end, right?

Just checking :D

Yeah they die, but really they're winners because their sacrifice inspires the Greeks to fight passionately for the cause and eventually emerge victorious. So, proportionately, all we have to do is sacrifice one player and it's all good, right.

Do I hear Tony Amonte?

OK, I have to shut up about Amonte.

Tonight is when Jarome earns his money. In a game this big, against such a terrible opponent, I expect nothing less than a "first star" performance from the Captain.

MG, you can't be serious, he's been playing like a man on fire! I don't know what else Jarome has to give.

Tonight is all about Jarome and just for that I'm wearing my Iginla jersey tee for good luck.

Oh, and sparkly red socks. :D

Kyle, I never said Jarome wasn't playing well. I just said he absolutely HAS to play well tonight.

My bad, I thought you were implying he had to pick it up. It's a little tense around these parts...

Amonte, heh.

It was very weird at the end of the game in the sense that I regretted that Thoresen high stick and Amonte's puddle of blood.
